About The Client

Kathmandu Momo House & Bar is an authentic Nepalese restaurant situated in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. They serve traditional Nepali cuisine which includes momos, thukpa, thali set, chowmein and many more. They wanted to increase their dine-in customers and grow online food delivery orders in a competitive local market.

The Challenge:

Before contacting us, the restaurant faced the following major challenges:

  • Very less local visibility, especially among the customers who are searching for Nepali food
  • Minimal social media presence, leading to poor or almost no engagement
  • No structured Google Ads campaigns were made, which resulted missed opportunities
  • Weak SEO, which caused their website and menu pages to rank low, thus it did not reach potential customers
  • Strong competition was there from other local eateries & street food outlets

We understood the assignment. They needed a strong digital marketing strategy to increase their overall online presence and also to expand their brand reach.

Our Solution:

We built such a digital strategy which consisted of SEO, Google Ads and Social Media Marketing.

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • We worked on their website and found some local and related keywords like “Nepalese restaurant near me,” “best momo restaurant,” “authentic Nepali food,” etc and right away implemented them
  • We felt that their on-page content needed improvisation, with SEO-rich menu descriptions and all over content
  • We made sure that the Google Business Profile is fully optimized (photos, menu updates, reviews)
  • Added schema markup for menu items to improve local search visibility

2. Social Media Marketing

  • Recreated their visual branding with high-quality food photography and reels across all platforms
  • Created engaging content around signature dishes, chef specials, culture, and festivals which greatly attracted audiences
  • Promoted offers like “Momo Combo Deals,” “Lunch Packages,” and “Weekend Platters”
  • Increased user engagement through polls, contests, and customer stories

3. Google Ads

  • Created targeted search ads for high-intent keywords, which works the best
  • Ran ads for delivery-focused terms like “order momos online” & “Nepalese food delivery”
  • Implemented call, location, and order-now extensions
  • Used radius targeting to reach customers within 3–5 km

The Results

Within the first quarter month, the restaurant received powerful growth that we all are working for:

  • 140% increase in traffic during the peak hours, which is a win-win
  • 2× more online orders through delivery partners and website
  • They got higher ranking on Google Maps mostly for “Nepalese restaurant” and “momos near me”, and other keywords as well, thanks to the high intent keywords
